




Kids had a great fun. So had the adults. It was Colombo General Hospital anaesthetists New Year celebrations. I enjoyed the company. Good time. Except for two things. One. There were no vegetarian food. An the other. Sometimes I couldn’t understand medical jargons. Even body parts such as limbs are referred by acronyms or abbreviations. So complicated. Well can’t help. Sometimes I ask Nilvala “what do you mean by that”. Well with others I can’t do the same. It is I guess like meeting different species in a jungle.
Minority – majority. Majority rules. Minority being ruled. Minority has to learn majority rituals, language, mannerisms, eat their food etc. OR ....
